AMG American Masters (Americas Masters Games 2016) was the inaugural regional multi-sport event held in Vancouver from August 26 to September 4, 2016, celebrating competitive sport for adult athletes from across the Americas. The opening and nightly celebration site at Jack Poole Plaza featured live entertainment, community festivities, and gatherings that brought together thousands of participants, supporters, and volunteers as part of this major international sporting festival.
